A Fun Saturday at Daja Dam

Last week, Saturday, I had a wonderful time with my siblings and cousins at Daja Dam in Maasin, Iloilo. It was a simple trip, but it turned into a very memorable day for all of us.
We woke up early and prepared our things. Everyone was excited and in a good mood. The weather was nice, and the trip going there was smooth. As we arrived, we were greeted by the peaceful view of the dam surrounded by nature. The place was calm, and the fresh air made us feel relaxed right away.
We quickly changed into our swimming clothes and went straight to the water. It was cold at first, but it felt very refreshing. We swam, laughed, and played around. We also took a lot of pictures to capture the fun moments together.
After swimming, we ate the food we brought. Sharing meals while sitting together made the bonding even more special. We told stories, joked around, and just enjoyed each other’s company. Moments like this remind me how important family is.
Before heading home, we took one last look at the beautiful view of Daja Dam. I felt thankful for that day because we were able to relax, have fun, and strengthen our bond as siblings and cousins.
It was truly a Saturday well spent, and I hope we can visit Daja Dam again soon.
